Distances: 

  • Tri: 0.5 mile swim, 12.5 mile mtb, 4 mile trail run
  • Du: 2 mi trail run, 12.5 mi mtb, 4 mi trail run

Course:

  • SW MI Eye Center Swim Course: clockwise rectangle in Eagle Lake
  • Alfred E. Bike’s gnarly Bike Course: loop course on rolling trails, using the Red and Blue Trails  bike map
  • Battle Creek Visitors Bureau Run Course: a loop on the Green  run map
  • Kalamazoo Bike Club Aid Stations: Two aid stations on the run and one in the Prater Chiropractic Transition.

Where: Fort Custer State Park: Augusta, MI (near Battle Creek)

NEED A WESUIT FOR A RACE: You can rent an XTERRA wetsuit.  more info ...

Park Permits: A State Park permit is needed to enter Ft. Custer. A one-day permit can be purchased Saturday at race registration or Sunday at the park entrance. The one-day permit is $6.00 for residence of Michigan and $8.00 for out of state people. Parking permit info

Packet Pick-Up: Sunday: registration and packet pick-up is from 6:30 - 7:30 am at Eagle Lake;  Race Info Hotline on Saturday: 419.376.9496

Divisions: Females, Males, 15-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-59, 80+

Awards: Overall male and female and 3 deep in every division

Drawing Prizes: Alfred E. Bike gift certificates, cool XTERRA gear

Post Race Food: Post Race party sponsored by Arcadia Brewing Company. The menu will include BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, spicy coleslaw, baked beans and corn bread. Then wash it down with their famous Anglers Ale or a refreshing Whitsun!! It truly doesn’t get much better than that! Lemonade and water will also be available.
