NEW FOR 2012: XTERRA 4 MI TRAIL RUN

In addition to the Tri / Du, we are adding a Trail Run for folks who just want to RUN! This run will take place concurrently with the Tri/Du, starting from the beach and go through the State Park gnarly trails. Watch for more details on the course soon!

FRIENDS: Purchase an annual Stare Park pass! The State Park System is the BEST FITNESS CLUB AROUND!!!

Where: Fort Custer State Park: Augusta, MI (near Battle Creek)

Distances: :

  • Tri - 0.5 mile swim, 12.5 mile mtb, 4 mile trail run
  • Di - 2 mile run, 12.5 mile mtb, 4 mile trail run
  • Trail Run - 4 miles
Course:
  • TRI-Kat Swim Course: clockwise rectangle in Eagle Lake - map
  • Team Active’s Gnarly Bike Course: loop course on rolling trails, using the Red and Blue Trails - map
  • Run Course: a loop on the Green - map and du 1st run map
  • ARCADIA Aid Stations: Two aid stations on the run and one in the transition.
Weekend Schedule:
  • Saturday, May 19: 2:30 - 5:00 pm, Team Active Bike Shop, 22 W. Michigan, Battle Creek, MI 49017
  • Sunday, May 20 - Race Day: NO RACE DAY SIGN UP
  • Sunday, May 20 - Packet Pick up 7:30 am – 8:45 am

Entry Fees:
Entry Fees Include: Zorrel race tech shirt, lots of door prizes, goodie bag, great race, immediate post race recovery food and drinks, chip timing, immediate results, and the best volunteers.

PRESS RELASE: FOR MICHIGAN RESIDENTS...GET YOUR PARK ENTRY PERMIT WHEN YOU RENEW YOUR LICENSE: Out-of-state residents will still be required to purchase a $29 annual Motor Vehicle Permit, or $8 Daily permit.

1. Michigan residents CANNOT purchase a one day, you must do the Recreation Passport .

2. We will NOT sell ONE DAY PERMITS on Saturday at Packet Pick-up.

3. It is $ 8.00 FOR ONE DAY OUT OF STATE residents only.

  • Challenged Athletes
  • Relays - Male, female, and mixed - three person teams

Awards:

  • Individuals -  Overall male and female and 3 deep in every division
  • Drawing Prizes: cool XTERRA gear

Transfer policy: If a transfer is necessary, you MUST contact Elite Endeavors by email at least 72 hours prior to the event. There will be a $15 fee charged for any transfer. Transfer must take place within a year.
