Distances:

  • Sprint: 1/2 mi swim, 12 mile bike, 3 mile run
  • Super Sprint: 1/4 mile Swim; 8 mile Bike; 2 mile Run/Walk

Course:

  • Swim: Multiple Wave Start
  • Bike: Two Lap course, flat through the heart of downtown Howell
  • Run: Two lap course along the lake front and the surrounding area neighborhood

Transition Area Opens 5:45am - Closes 7:20am

    Howell is fortunate to have Thompson Lake within its boundaries. One of the area’s major parks, Howell City Park, is nestled on the shore of the lake. The park is a popular destination for swimming, boating, picnicking and playground activities with spectacular lake views, towering trees and hiking paths.

  • Individuals: 15-17, 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.

Awards:

  • Triathlon - Top female, top masters and at least top 5 in age groups.
  • Relays - 1st place in each division

Medical Services:

  • provided by Robert Kiningham, MD, FACSM, Primary Care, Sports Medicine, UM Dept. of Family Medicine.

What do I need to know? print document

  • Arrive early (at least 1+ hour prior to Race start)
  • Transition Area opens at 5:45am and closes at 7:20am
  • The Transition Area may be entered by participants only
  • Be sure to affix bike helmet sticker and bike frame number before entering Transition Area (provided in Race Packet on Saturday)
  • Enter Transition Area in an orderly fashion
  • Lay out your gear(sneakers, socks, towel, helmet, water, etc) neatly and efficiently next to your racked bike
  • Volunteers will be on hand to guide participants through the process

Please Take Note of the Following:

  • The Local Race Director will use his discretion on when the Transition area will be reopened to athletes to pick up their gear and leave Race site.
  • No athlete may enter Transition Area until this announcement is made
  • Friends and family are asked to remain outside of the fenced Transition area
  • Athletes must walk or run their bike out of Transition area
  • Upon exiting Transition, mount bike at sign posted

  • Transfer policy: If a transfer is necessary, you MUST contact Elite Endeavors by email at least 72 hours prior to the event (Wednesday evening). There will be a $15 fee charged for any transfer. Transfer must take place within a year.
